At Tool Frontier, we partner with multiple trusted manufacturers and distributors throughout the United States. Because of this, shipping methods, carriers, and lead times vary by product. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered.
By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms below.
1. Order Processing
Most orders are processed within 1–3 business days, unless otherwise noted on the product page.
Processing includes:

Certain items may require extended processing if they are:

Oversized freight shipments
2. Shipping Times
Shipping times vary by manufacturer and product type:
Standard Parcel Delivery (UPS, FedEx, USPS)

Freight Delivery (LTL)
Used for large or heavy items such as:

Garage cabinets

Tool storage systems

Shelving systems
-
Slatwall bundles

Large racks or equipment
Freight delivery typically takes:

5–15 business days, depending on your location

Remote areas or long-distance routes may take longer
Estimated shipping times are shown on each product page when available, but these are not guaranteed.
3. Freight Delivery Requirements (IMPORTANT)
Most high-ticket items ship via freight (LTL). Freight deliveries:

Require an adult signature

May include curbside delivery only

Do NOT automatically include inside delivery
If you need additional services such as:

Inside delivery

White-glove service
-
Scheduled appointment windows

Liftgate service

4. Delivery Appointment Scheduling
For freight shipments:

The carrier will typically call you to schedule a delivery window.

You must be available during the scheduled time.
-
Missed appointments may incur redelivery fees charged by the freight carrier.
Tool Frontier is not responsible for redelivery charges.
5. Inspecting Your Shipment Upon Arrival
This is EXTREMELY important for freight orders.
When the freight carrier arrives:
✔ You MUST inspect the shipment before signing
Check:

Packaging condition

Box damage
-
Tears, dents, holes
-
Openings or crushed areas
✔ If you see ANY damage:
You MUST write “DAMAGED” on the delivery receipt (BOL) before signing.
Take photos of:

The packaging
-
The damaged area
-
The bill of lading
✔ If the item is severely damaged:
Refuse delivery and contact us immediately.
Failure to note damage may result in denial of replacement or refund by the carrier or manufacturer.
6. Concealed Damage
If you discover damage after the driver leaves:
You must report it within 24–48 hours, depending on the supplier’s rules.

Description of damage
We will file the freight claim and coordinate replacements.
7. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs vary by product and supplier:

Many products ship free within the contiguous United States
-
Some oversized or heavy items may have additional freight charges
-
Shipping charges are displayed at checkout when applicable
Additional services (liftgate, inside delivery, white glove) may incur extra fees.
8. Split Shipments
If your order contains multiple items from different manufacturers, they may arrive in separate shipments and on different days.
You will receive tracking information for each shipment.
9. Shipping Restrictions
We currently ship only within the contiguous United States (lower 48 states).
We do NOT ship to:

Alaska

Hawaii

U.S. territories

PO Boxes
-
APO/FPO addresses
Unless otherwise stated.
10. Delays
Tool Frontier is not responsible for shipping delays caused by:

Supplier backorders
-
Manufacturing delays
-
Freight carrier issues
-
Natural disasters
-
Seasonal volume
-
Incorrect shipping information provided by the customer
We will always communicate updates as soon as we receive them from suppliers or carriers.
11. Tracking Information
Once your order ships, you will receive:

A tracking number

The carrier name
-
Delivery instructions if applicable
Tracking may take 24–48 hours to update depending on the carrier.
